Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stratoryn, an ERP-export analysis and business-intelligence service. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using Stratoryn, you agree to these Terms.
Last updated: 30 June 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By registering for an account, accessing, or using Stratoryn (the “Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy & Data Handling notice. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” refers to that organisation. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. The Stratoryn service
Stratoryn is a software-as-a-service product that analyses structured data files exported from ERP and business systems (for example CSV or Excel exports) and produces management-oriented analysis, including data-quality indicators, business-intelligence summaries, dashboards, reports, and, where enabled, AI-generated commentary.
The Service is intended for business and professional use by finance teams, operational managers, consultants, and data owners. Stratoryn analyses the data you provide; it is not an ERP system, an accounting system, or a system of record, and it does not replace your existing business systems.
3. Account registration and user responsibility
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use or suspected security breach.
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service.
- You are responsible for ensuring that anyone you permit to use your account complies with these Terms.
4. File uploads and your data
- You are solely responsible for the files and data you upload and for ensuring you have the right and any necessary permissions to upload and process them.
- You should avoid uploading unnecessary personal data or highly sensitive information. Where your uploads contain personal data, you are responsible for complying with applicable data-protection laws in respect of that data.
- Uploaded files are processed primarily in your browser. By default, raw uploaded files are not retained; only analysis metadata, summaries, and results generated from your data are saved to your account. See the Privacy & Data Handling notice for detail on what is and is not stored, including where optional AI features are used.
5. Nature of analysis outputs
Analysis outputs, scores, indicators, charts, reports, and any AI-generated commentary are advisory and indicative only. They are generated automatically from the data you provide and depend on the accuracy, completeness, and structure of that data. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications.
You remain responsible for independently reviewing and validating all outputs before relying on them. You should not treat any output as a definitive statement of fact or as a recommendation to take or refrain from any particular action.
6. Not professional advice
Stratoryn does not provide professional advice and is not a substitute for it. The Service and its outputs do not constitute, and must not be relied upon as, financial, accounting, audit, operational, legal, tax, or ERP-consulting advice. You should obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional before making decisions based on the analysis.
7. Subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and taxes
- Stratoryn offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. The features, usage limits, and prices applicable to each plan are described on the Pricing page and at checkout.
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) through our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your selected payment method until you cancel.
- You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable and partial periods are not pro-rated.
- Prices are stated exclusive of any applicable VAT or other taxes. Billing address and VAT or tax details are collected securely at checkout. The VAT treatment that applies may depend on your country and business status, and applicable taxes will be added where required.
- We may change plan features or prices on reasonable notice. Changes to recurring prices apply from your next renewal after notice is given.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:
- use the Service in breach of any applicable law or third-party right, or to upload data you are not authorised to process;
- upload or transmit malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or probe the Service or its infrastructure, or circumvent usage limits or security controls;
- copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service, or reverse engineer it except to the extent permitted by law;
- use the Service to build a competing product or to misrepresent Stratoryn outputs as independently audited or verified.
We may suspend or limit access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or to protect the Service, its users, or third parties.
9. Intellectual property
Stratoryn, including its software, website, user interface, report templates, documentation, design, and branding, is owned by Stephan Ferriggi and protected by intellectual-property laws. See the Copyright & IP page. Subject to these Terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription. No other rights are granted. You may use generated reports internally within your organisation, but the Stratoryn report templates and branding remain protected.
10. Your data ownership
You retain all ownership of the ERP and business data you upload and of the results derived from it. We do not claim ownership of your data. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and analyse your data solely to provide and support the Service, and to generate the outputs you request, in accordance with our Privacy & Data Handling notice. We may use aggregated and anonymised information that does not identify you or your data to operate and improve the Service.
11. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable Service and to apply reasonable security controls, but the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure, or that outputs will be accurate or complete. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service, and may carry out maintenance, from time to time.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stratoryn and Stephan Ferriggi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any outputs, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms will not exceed the total fees you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time from your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, data ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Malta, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
15. Who operates Stratoryn, and contact
Stratoryn is operated by Stephan Ferriggi, a self-employed business registered in Malta, VAT No. MT25335407. In these Terms, “Stratoryn”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Stephan Ferriggi trading as Stratoryn.
For questions about these Terms, your account, or the Service, contact us at info@stephanferriggi.com or via the Contact page. We may update these Terms from time to time; where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
